Terms & Conditions — HustleBazar

Welcome to HustleBazar. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HustleBazar platform, including our website, services, and any associated applications. By creating an account, setting up a store, or making a purchase on a HustleBazar-powered store, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

"Platform" refers to HustleBazar and all its services, including the website, APIs, and admin dashboard.
"Merchant" refers to any individual or business that creates a store on HustleBazar.
"Customer" refers to any person who shops on a HustleBazar-powered store.
"We", "Us", "Our" refers to HustleBazar.

2. Account Registration

To use HustleBazar as a merchant, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password (or by signing in with Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Subscription & Billing

HustleBazar offers a Free plan and a Pro plan ($10/month). New Pro signups receive a 7-day free trial; the Free plan is free forever and requires no card. Details:

The Free plan includes 1 product, unlimited orders, all payment gateways, and a HustleBazar subdomain.
The Pro plan includes unlimited products, unlimited orders, custom domains with free SSL, premium themes, analytics, API access, and priority support.
Subscription payments are processed securely through Stripe.
You may cancel or downgrade your Pro subscription at any time from your billing settings. Scheduled downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period and are reversible until then.
An immediate "Downgrade now" from Pro to Free issues a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your current period to the card on file.
If a renewal payment fails, your store enters a 2-day grace period before being blocked.

4. Store & Content

As a merchant, you are solely responsible for the products, content, images, and information you publish on your store. You agree not to:

Sell illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited products
Post misleading product descriptions or pricing
Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
Use the platform for spam, phishing, or malicious activities
Attempt to access other merchants' data or databases

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any store that violates these terms without prior notice.

5. Orders & Payments

Merchants are responsible for fulfilling orders placed on their stores. HustleBazar provides the platform and tools but does not participate in the transaction between merchant and customer.

Payment processing is handled through third-party gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, PayFast, or COD) as configured by the merchant. HustleBazar does not process payments directly and is not liable for payment disputes between merchants and customers.

6. Custom Domains

Merchants may connect a custom domain to their store. You are responsible for owning the domain and configuring DNS settings correctly. HustleBazar provides free SSL certificates for all connected domains through automatic TLS provisioning.

7. Account Termination

By you: You may delete your store at any time from your account settings. Your Stripe subscription will be cancelled immediately. Your data is preserved for 30 days, then permanently deleted.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or extended inactivity. We will attempt to notify you by email before taking action.

8. Limitation of Liability

HustleBazar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

Loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from use of the platform
Downtime, service interruptions, or technical failures
Actions of merchants, including product quality, shipping, or customer service
Third-party payment processing issues

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to HustleBazar in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

The HustleBazar platform, brand, logo, designs, and code are the intellectual property of HustleBazar. Merchants retain ownership of their store content, products, and brand assets. By uploading content to the platform, you grant us a limited license to host and display it as part of operating your store.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation, and if necessary, through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Pakistan.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
